Walking Each Other Home: Love and Resilience in Difficult Times
In these challenging times, join in a time of shared discussion and practice on ways to keep our hearts open and minds clear. We can’t always change what is happening around us, but through simple practices and self-care, we can learn to be with it with more calmness, insight, and compassion.
With mindfulness and compassion practices, we can process our difficult emotions—anger, sadness, frustration– to see conditions with new eyes; we can learn to be more be adaptive, creative and focused on solutions. We can practice loving-kindness and good will as an antidote to hatred and fear. And we can remember together the importance of caring relationships, engaged community, and humor.
